About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to serve as the key day-to-day client interface and deliver value-added cost management services on a large-scale, mission-critical data center program. This role is pivotal in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards, with a strong emphasis on governance, commercial rigor, stakeholder engagement, and proactive cost management. This position supports a major project site in Cheyenne, WY and requires a regular onsite presence of approximately 3-4 days per week, depending on project requirements and phase. Candidates residing in the Fort Collins, CO area, within a reasonable commuting distance of Cheyenne, or those open to relocating to the region are encouraged to apply.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-7+ years of experience in cost management, quantity surveying, estimating, or project controls on medium to large-scale construction projects of moderate to high complexity.
• Knowledge of MEP systems, mission-critical infrastructure, and large-scale construction delivery is beneficial.
• Strong foundation in budgeting, cost planning, financial reporting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Experience with procurement strategies and the commercial management of contractor and vendor contracts.
• RICS accreditation, CCP certification, or progress toward professional certification is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency with industry-standard cost management, estimating, and project controls software.
• Construction consultancy experience is strongly preferred.
