About the role
WHAT’S THE JOB? The Master Electrician is responsible for providing licensed electrical leadership and hands‑on technical expertise for a large workforce accommodations facility in the State of Texas. The site consists of temporary, modular, hardwall structures configured into a complex designed to house and support a rotating workforce. In this role, you will act as the technical authority for all electrical systems while also supporting general facilities maintenance activities as required. You will ensure the safe, reliable, and code‑compliant operation of electrical infrastructure while supporting day‑to‑day maintenance needs across accommodations, common areas, and support buildings. This position requires an active Texas Master Electrician license and compliance with all applicable Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) regulations.
What you'll bring
- WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Active Texas Master Electrician license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in commercial, industrial, or institutional electrical work
- Demonstrated experience working with temporary, modular, or prefabricated structures
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Experience supporting both electrical systems and general facilities maintenance
- Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of site electrical systems
- Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills
- Physically capable of working in mechanical and electrical rooms and performing hands‑on work
