Our team is looking for compassionate, caring and considerate companions to become angels for San Diego's residents and participants in the best years of their lives! This is a Full-time position with an anticipated schedule of Monday - Friday, 8:30AM - 5:00PM.
What you'll bring
- A minimum of 18 years of age and a current pediatric CPR and pediatric First Aid certification.
- Mandated Reporter Certification.
- High-school diploma or GED.
- At least twelve (12) postsecondary semester or equivalent quarter units in early childhood education or child development completed, with passing grades, at an accredited or approved college or university, at least three (3) of the twelve units must be related to the care of infants and toddlers.
- Or a current and valid Child Development Associate (CDA) credential with the appropriate age level endorsement issued by the CDA National Credentialing Program of the Council for Early Childhood Professional Recognition
- At least six months of on the job training and/or work experience in a licensed childcare center or comparable group childcare program.
- Or a Child Development Permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
- A minimum of 6 months’ work experience in a licensed child care center or comparable group child care program.
- YOU MUST BE ABLE TO CLEAR FINGERPRINTS THROUGH DOJ AND FBI IN ADDITION TO A DRUG SCREEN CLEARANCE.
