About the role
This role requires full-time presence at our Roanoke, Virginia office. The 2nd Shift Supervisor is responsible for leading and directing daily operations within Receiving and Warehousing. This role oversees employee activities to ensure alignment with established operational plans and business objectives. Key responsibilities include driving performance against critical operational metrics, including safety, inventory accuracy, receiving, order fulfillment, and overall efficiency. The Supervisor ensures adherence to company policies, procedures, and standard operating practices while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Additionally, this role actively participates in the performance management process, including coaching, evaluating, and developing team members to achieve individual and team goals.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in business related field or related experience.
- Minimum of 4 years related experience in distribution / Logistics field.
- Shift hours: Monday - Thursday 4:00pm - 12:30am
- however base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and geographic location.
- Certain positions may also be eligible for short-term incentives as part of total compensation.
- Vacation will depend on role.
- Warehouse management concept, Lean, six Sigma, etc. are desirable.
- Various warehouse certification desirable.
