About the role

Last Energy seeks a Senior Recruiter to lead recruitment efforts for our engineering team. This role will be instrumental in identifying, attracting, and hiring top-tier talent to support the company’s rapid growth. The recruiter will work closely with engineering leadership and the talent team to ensure a smooth, efficient, and high-quality candidate experience. This position is based in Austin and reports directly to the VP of Talent, while working closely with the broader Last Energy team.

What you'll bring

• 5+ years of recruiting experience
• Familiarity with engineering roles and terminology, particularly in power generation and other relevant hardware fields
• Strong command of ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
• High attention to detail, proactive mindset, and ability to work independently
• Passion for building strong teams and fostering a high-quality candidate experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• preferably in a high-growth, hardware engineering environment
