About the role
This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity. This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Maine or Washington. As an SDET/Test Automation Engineer, you will be a key contributor to ensuring the quality and performance of our software products. You will collaborate closely with development and product teams to identify issues, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement in our QA processes. This role offers an opportunity to leverage your skills to make a significant impact on our product offerings and the overall user experience.
What you'll bring
- 4+ years of experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and Karate, enabling efficient UI and API testing across multiple platforms.
- 3+ years of experience in designing and executing performance testing strategies using tools like JMeter, identifying bottlenecks and optimizing application responsiveness and scalability.
- 2+ years of experience in integrated AI-driven test optimization techniques to enhance test coverage and reduce execution time, contributing to faster release cycles.
- 2+ years of experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, with automated test execution and deployment workflows leveraging AWS Lambda and containerized environments (Docker).
- 2+ years of experience in leading cross-functional QA efforts in Agile teams, utilizing Playwright for modern web automation as required and driving continuous improvement through collaborative sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field (or foreign equivalent degree) or equivalent work experience and/or Certifications.
- Experience with automated testing tools.
- Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools.
- Familiarity with security testing practices with tools like Fortify.
- AWS Associate Certification.
- ISTQB/AI Testing Certification.
