About the role
HPE is seeking a visionary Vice President, Cyber Defense to lead the enterprise strategy and capabilities that protect our people, products, customers, intellectual property, and global operations. This executive will oversee four core areas: Cyber Defense Center operations, Insider Threat & Investigations, Threat Intelligence, and Detection Engineering. The ideal candidate is a seasoned cybersecurity leader who can scale global teams, strengthen cyber resilience, and translate evolving threats into measurable business outcomes. What you'll bring
- Demonstrated ability to translate cyber risk into business impact and influence senior executives and boards.
- Strong business judgment, executive communication, stakeholder management, and organizational leadership skills.
- Experience managing significant budgets, strategic technology investments, and enterprise transformation initiatives.
- Advanced cybersecurity or business credentials—such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC, CCSP, or an MBA—are valued.
