About the role
We are hiring a CHB Operations Leader to join our US Customs Product & Operations team in Baltimore. In this role, you will lead a team of customs brokerage professionals responsible for managing import shipments end-to-end, ensuring compliance with US Customs regulations, and delivering a strong client experience. You will act as a subject matter expert, overseeing daily operations, monitoring KPIs, and driving team performance while maintaining a hands-on approach during peak periods. This role offers the opportunity to lead a high-impact team, develop operational excellence, and contribute to continuous improvement in a fast-evolving customs environment shaped by regulatory change.
What you'll bring
- 3–6 years of experience in customs brokerage, international trade, or a related logistics environment
- 1–3 years of experience leading or supervising teams, with a hands-on leadership approach
- Strong understanding of US import processes, tariff changes, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Proven ability to manage operational performance, analyze KPIs, and drive continuous improvement
- Experience with customs entry processing and familiarity with PGA requirements
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills across all levels
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel) and ability to work with operational systems.
