About the role
The AECOM Government Business Line is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Client Account Sr Manager to enhance our partnership with DHS. AECOM has a longstanding and multifaceted relationship with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), providing a wide range of services that support DHS's mission across various components. Client Account Managers are the primary contacts for AECOM's relationships with accounts which are strategically important at a regional, business line or global level. They have responsibility for developing, growing and sustaining our business with their client(s), working across our company to offer solutions that deliver, using all our relevant capabilities and local and global expertise. Bringing the best of AECOM to the client, on time, every time. This will be a hybrid position including a combination of both remote and on-site work schedules, that can be based in, but not limited to: Arlington, VA; Baltimore, MD; Germantown, MD; Washington D.C. What you'll bring
- Demonstrated ability to set short and medium term goals and strategies for the account to align with the client’s needs.
- Identifies evolving resourcing needs for client portfolio.
- Industry Standout - Establishes self as a strategic, collaborative leader and in areas of expertise in field, market or with clients.
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering or other related discipline and 10+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education including at least 2 years of leadership.
- Prior experience with DHS and the ability to effectively navigate relationships within the organization is essential.
- Proven ability to collaborate with multifunctional teams.
- Active government clearance as preferred
