About the role
Brown Advisory is seeking a highly driven and analytical professional to serve as the finance business partner for one of the firm’s two business lines. This individual will report to the Head of Finance and have accountability to the business line leadership team. What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics or related course of study.
- 12 – 15+ years of progressive corporate finance, FP&A, or strategic finance experience.
- Financial Services background
- Excellent quantitative, analytical, data, and critical-thinking skills, coupled with sound business acumen and commercial operating judgment.
- Advanced financial modeling skills and experience required, inclusive of leveraging artificial intelligence.
- Ability to influence, earn trust, and partner effectively with various levels and areas of the organization, including executive management.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and lead cross-functional projects and initiatives.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required.
- Ability to work five days a week in our Baltimore or DC office.
- MBA, CFA, or CPA designation is a plus.
