About the role
As a Manufacturing Test Development Engineer Co-op , you will gain hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting test equipment used in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to help ensure products meet quality, performance, and reliability standards. This role provides exposure to real-world engineering challenges, including the design, development, and validation of electrical and mechanical test solutions, fixture design, and hardware-level debugging of test systems. Through this experience, you will develop practical engineering skills, learn how testing integrates into large-scale manufacturing, and contribute directly to improving efficiency and product quality. What You’ll Do What We’re Looking For
What you'll bring
- Applicants must be candidates for a Bachelor of Science degree in any of the following fields: Electrical, Computer Engineering, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or similar programs.
- Familiarity with modeling software such as SolidWorks/Creo or AutoCAD
- Familiarity with schematic and PCB design tools such as Altium, KiCad, QElectroTech
- Familiarity with fabrication tools such as calipers, hand tools, 3d printing, etc.
- Experience with project management tools such as Gantt charts, Microsoft Project/Planner, etc.
