About the role
Network Architect / Systems Engineer will be the subject matter expert for architecting, implementing, testing, and troubleshooting enterprise networks in support of common business applications and objectives. The Network Architect will lead the design and implementation of architecture for proposals and/or projects to build or enhance enterprise networks with 1000+ sites and over 50,000 users. Responsible for designing, developing and implementing voice switch system plans and networking procedures for NVS facilities. Responsible for the network architecture design, feasibility and modeling of functional interfaces such as telecom, VOIP, and networking on the Next-Gen Voice Switch.
What you'll bring
- BSEE, BSCE or BSCS with Networking focus required; or equivalent work experience.
- CCNA certification, or equivalent experience.
- Cisco networking domain knowledge with the ability to plan, implement, verify and troubleshoot local and wide-area enterprise networks.
- Strong enterprise network trouble-shooting.
- Domain knowledge of data center design and data center commercial best practices.
- Ability to interact with customer representatives on a technical level.
- Experience performing iterative peer reviews, updating, and publishing of documentation.
- Provide technical leadership in the installation of systems at customer sites.
