About the role

This role is responsible for supporting the commissioning and startup of medium-voltage electrical systems within complex industrial and mission-critical environments. The individual will play a key role in driving quality, compliance, and successful system turnover.

What you'll bring

• Strong knowledge of medium-voltage electrical systems, including switchgear, substations, and power distribution.
• Familiarity with electrical testing standards and practices (NETA, IEEE, NFPA, NEC).
• Proven ability to develop and execute commissioning plans and procedures.
• Strong understanding of system integration, functional testing, and startup processes.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills within energized or pre-energized environments.
• Effective communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary project teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to lead and mentor field personnel in a fast-paced construction or commissioning environment.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation and reporting capabilities.
• Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
• NETA certification preferred.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
