About the role
As a Senior QA Salesforce Automation Engineer at IC Markets, you will be a hands-on technical contributor responsible for designing, building, and maintaining automation frameworks across our web-based trading platforms, internal tooling, and core enterprise systems — including our Salesforce CRM environment. You will implement AI-assisted testing workflows, integrate quality gates into our CI/CD pipelines, and work closely with development, DevOps, and CRM engineering teams to embed a shift-left testing culture across engineering. This is a broad automation remit spanning client- facing trading platforms and internal business systems, rather than a single-platform specialism.
What you'll bring
- Technical Expertise
- Extensive hands-on experience with Playwright for end-to-end web automation, with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, and cross-browser and cross-device compatibility including Browser Stack integration.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools, particularly GitHub Actions, with experience integrating automated tests into cloud-based deployment pipelines.
- Solid background in API testing using Postman with automated monitor collections, and performance/load testing using k6 and JMeter.
- Experience with QMetry for Jira, including test plan creation, cycle management, execution tracking, and defect traceability reporting.
- Demonstrated experience integrating AI and LLM-based tools such as Claude and OpenAI into QA workflows, including building automation agents and AI-assisted testing pipelines.
- Working knowledge of SQL for data validation across platforms.
