About the role

The Site Controller is responsible to lead the accounting department in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and operations to ensure accurate accounting operations, effective project execution, and clear communication with stakeholders.. This role will be responsible for supervision/management of the Staff Accountant(s).

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • 3+ years of progressive accounting and financial leadership experience within large-scale manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, cost accounting, and core accounting principles within a manufacturing or site-based environment
  • High level of personal effectiveness with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, as well as a demonstrated ability to identify and improve systems and procedures and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced onsite environment
  • Demonstrated high level of ethical conduct, integrity, and professionalism in handling confidential financial and operational information
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and site leadership to support business decision-making
  • Solid financial management experience including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting at the site or business unit level
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, PowerPoint), with demonstrated experience utilizing mid-to-high tier ERP (Infor, SAP, Oracle, JDE, or other) and other accounting/financial systems to support reporting, analysis, and day-to-day financial operations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders
  • CPA Certification
