About the role
The Senior Electrical Program Engineer (SEPE) provides electrical engineering expertise during the pre-award phase of complex engineering projects, focusing on standardization, modularization, and alignment with Amazon’s technical and operational needs. They ensure scope, schedules, and budgets meet organizational standards and Amazon’s expectations. Acting as the primary technical liaison, the SEPE facilitates communication between engineering, sales, and Amazon teams to support project execution. During project handover, the SEPE prepares risk assessments, identifies opportunities, and shares Lessons Learned to guide execution. They create Amazon specification packages, conduct periodic audits, and provide recommendations to maintain project success. Additionally, they lead multi-discipline Project Design Reviews and collaborate with the Training team to develop and deliver Amazon specific technical training materials.
