About the role

As a Alterations Fitter, you will be conducting alterations, resizing and restyling of all merchandise retailed in Saks Fifth Avenues stores. You will assist fitters in achieving their goals with professional assistance with fit, alterability, and structural quality of apparel merchandise.

What you'll bring

• Experience in a tailoring operation or industrial sewing environment,
• Ability to read English and understand instruction by Manager, Supervisor, or Lead
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
• exposure to a variety of garment styles and types of fabrics, is preferred.
