Job Description Must Have: BS in Computer Science or related field Minimum 7+ years in Scala server backend development in Services (not Data Analytics) Solid experience and deep understanding of Scala programming, JVM, sbt. Candidate should be willing to embrace Pure Functional Programming with Scala. Development and Implementation of highly scalable, secure and concurrent software systems using HTTP, REST, WebServer, Caching, Resiliency, Responsive and Concurrency strategies Webserver like nginx At least one Scala WebService SDK – Play , http4s , Spray or any other REST APIs Akka Experience using Agile framework tools and methodologies. Experience in AWS Cloud Infrastructure (Preferred) or any other Cloud infrastructure. Experience with Linux Operating Systems Nice to Have: (These are nice to have. Candidate just needs some exposure/experience with any DB and willing to learn/adapt the NO SQL and Docker technologies) Experience with other Scala SDKs like ScalaZ, Shapeless, CATS Experience in Docker containerization technologies Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g. Cassandra, MongoDB, Hbase) Experience with scripting/automation programming Experience with some Performance testing tools/scripts – like Gatling, Jmeter Qualifications Additional Information Thanks & Regards, SR.IT Recruiter Dhamotharan 571-267-4164
