About the role
A privately owned real estate investment and development company that has been building and managing properties for over 30 years is seeking a Finance Director to help shape and lead the finance function for its growing portfolio. This is a rare opportunity to step into a highly visible role where you'll partner directly with executive leadership and help build processes, structure, and best practices from the ground up. This is a newly created function within a rapidly growing organization. The company expanded quickly and is now investing in building the infrastructure and processes needed to support continued growth.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field- REQUIRED
- 5+ years of accounting experience including LEADERSHIP
- Experience with CAM reconciliations and job costing
- Hands-on experience with Yardi
- Experience building, leading, and developing small teams
- Strong process improvement mindset and ability to implement best practices
