About the role
The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards. The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), in collaboration with staff anesthesiologists, provides high quality anesthetic care to patients in the inpatient and expanded outpatient facilities. The CRNA may also participate in research projects, the education of student registered nurse anesthetists, and leadership activities within the department and throughout the hospital.
What you'll bring
- Minimum of master’s degree in nursing (or equivalent) from an accredited nurse anesthesia education program
- Advance Practice Registered Nurse (IL) license
- Registered Professional Nurse (IL) license
- National Board for Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) certification
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Exception: New graduate internal employees seeking their first licensed clinical position at NM may be eligible depending upon the job family.
