About the role

The Field Service Technician II provides advanced technical maintenance, repair, and support services on equipment. This role requires expertise in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues, along with the ability to guide and support junior technicians. The technician will also collaborate closely with engineering teams to implement solutions and improve product performance. You'll be responsible for installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and modifying our products and updating and tracking the status of all field related equipment. You'll build and maintain effective relationships with our customers and provide them with onsite training. This position requires current/active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants. Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and illegal drug use.

What you'll bring

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience as a technician or in a related field.
  • Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
  • Basic understanding of technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications.
  • Experience using troubleshooting techniques.
  • Understanding of electrical wiring concepts.
  • Ability to frequently travel outside the continental US, typically for extended periods of time.
  • Willing to deploy OCONUS on an approximate 90/90 rotation
  • Ability to deploy for an extended amount of time to various OCONUS operating locations.
  • Ability to meet current DoD and Combatant Command requirements for deployed locations.
  • Successfully pass a pre-deployment medical assessment.
