We are confirming our search for a Manager, Property Accounting to join our team at a pivotal stage of growth and operational evolution. This position is process led and execution focused. It is less about managing a large team and more about owning, strengthening, and modernizing the end-to-end property accounting process across a defined portfolio. You will oversee a small team, but your primary impact will come from building discipline, improving workflows, optimizing systems, and ensuring reporting integrity in a high-volume environment.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Five plus years of hands on accounting experience
- Proven experience managing and developing an accounting team, including setting expectations, reviewing work, and providing regular feedback.
- Demonstrated ability to build a reliable, engaged, and high performing team through clear direction, coaching, and accountability.
- Strong attention to detail with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and work directly in the numbers alongside the team.
- Practical experience identifying gaps, improving processes, and strengthening day to day execution.
- Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple deadlines, and keep the team focused in a fast paced environment.
- Clear, straightforward communication style with the ability to explain accounting information to non finance partners.
