About the role

Trellix is seeking a high-caliber Senior Sales Engineer to join our Canadian team in Ottawa. In this role, you will serve as the primary technical resource for our sales team, driving the "technical win" across commercial, enterprise, and public sector accounts. You will be a trusted advisor to our customers, translating complex cybersecurity requirements into robust, architected solutions that protect their most critical assets.

What you'll bring

• You possess a rare blend of deep technical expertise and the sophisticated communication skills required to influence executive stakeholders.
• You navigate the bridge between deep-dive security architecture and executive-level business outcomes with ease.
• Professional fluency in both English and French is required to support our diverse Canadian client base.
• You must currently reside in Canada.
• 3+ years of proven cybersecurity experience in a pre-sales or high-level consulting capacity.
• Deep experience working with Canadian Government entities and a strong understanding of their unique procurement and security standards.
• Expert-level knowledge in at least one of the following: Cloud/Virtualization security, Data Protection, Network Security (Web Proxy/SD-WAN), or Workload/Container security.
• You hold industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CEH, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• You don't just answer questions
• you ask the right ones.
• You have a track record of building deep trust with stakeholders from the SOC analyst to the CISO.
• Significant familiarity with McAfee/FireEye (Trellix) ecosystems is highly preferred.
