• A strong understanding and knowledge of computer, network, and security systems.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well independently under limited oversight, be self-directed and able to prioritize work.
• Active and transferable Top Secret U.S. government issued security clearance with SCI eligibility is required prior to start date.
• Must be able to attain and maintain a DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Experience with datacenter power, cooling load calculation planning, supporting datacenter thermal inspection, Microsoft Windows Server environment to include but not limited to Active Directory, DNS and Group policy, and Linux bas.
• Understanding of network engineering fundamentals, including: OSI layers, IP addressing, sub-netting, TCP/IP stack, VLANs, DHCP, etc.
