About the role
Collins Aerospace is looking for a talented Production Control Professional to work onsite in our Largo, FL site. At Collins Aerospace's Largo Manufacturing site, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our factory runs like clockwork. As a Product Control professional, you will leverage your expertise in material management principles to craft innovative solutions for a wide array of challenges. In this dynamic role, you will manage factory supply and demand, driving the MRP schedules that are key to meeting our customers' needs. You will analyze material availability, communicate factory priorities, and proactively identify and overcome obstacles, ensuring our factory meets its goals. Your efforts will directly contribute to the success of our programs. Collaboration is at the heart of what you do. You will work in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment, coordinating activities across various groups, and providing clear and concise updates on material status. Your ability to connect and communicate will be instrumental in aligning our team’s efforts to achieve our objectives. What you'll bring
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
- Bachelor or advanced degree.
- Experience in material planning, order execution, and program management.
- Proficient in SAP and familiar with government contracting requirements.
- Solid understanding of Production and Planning Control fundamentals, including MRP, Inventory Management, and Lean Manufacturing.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) with the ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
- Organized, innovative problem-solver with a commitment to following Leader Standard Work.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative
