About the role
The Department of County Human Services (DCHS) is pleased to announce an open competitive recruitment for a Medicaid Housing Program Specialist. This position is a full time 1.0 FTE and will be scheduled as hybrid telework, 40 hours a week open to: Standard 40 hour per week schedule; or 4/10s Monday – Thursday or 9/80 w/ alternating Fridays off. The on-site work location for this position is at 209 SW 4th Avenue, Portland OR 97204. All employees must reside in Oregon or Washington; the county cannot support ongoing telework from other locations. This is a Limited Duration position and is funded for up to 15 months but may end at any time. The eligible list created from this recruitment may be used to fill future regular, limited duration, temporary, on-call, full or part-time assignments within the department. About the Position: This role will administer the 1115 Medicaid Waiver Housing benefit program for the county. The purpose of this role is to participate in the development and administration of the housing benefit through network coordination, technical assistance, quality assurance, and program analysis. Hybrid Telework: This position is designated as “hybrid telework,” meaning you will be working both remotely (from home) and in person at an onsite location. The designation of Hybrid Telework may be subject to change at a future time. All employees must reside in Oregon or Washington; the county cannot support ongoing telework from other locations.

- A Bachelor's Degree – in lieu of a degree, we will consider equivalent years of related experience.
- One (1) to four (4) years of experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. (Equivalency 5-8 years of qualifying training and/or experience).
- Must have a valid driver license
