About the role

The Lead Cabin Cleaning Agent provides day-to-day‑ direction, guidance, and support to Cabin Cleaning Agents to ensure safe, efficient, and high quality‑ operation. This role serves as a working leader, performing all standard Cabin Cleaning Agent duties while coaching team members and modeling exceptional performance. This role is responsible for coordinating and balancing resources, coaching employees, and ensuring operational tasks are completed in compliance with customer instructions, safety standards, and plays a key role in supporting an on time, safety‑ focused aircraft‑ turn while fostering teamwork and upholding service excellence. This position requires significant physical agility; you may be required to complete a Physical Capabilities Test post offer that will demonstrate your ability to: Per the CBA, work schedules are awarded based on seniority. New hires are awarded their initial shift based on operational need.

What you'll bring

  • 6 months of direct work experience in the specific duty (ramp, cabin cleaning, etc).
  • Demonstrated skills in proactive and honest communication, providing direction and allowing team members to execute tasks, setting clear expectations and holding others accountable.
  • Self-motivated, with proven ability to lead and direct the work of others in a positive way.
  • Ability to provide specific and constructive feedback as well as positive recognition.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong active listening skills.
  • Must be able to work well in a team environment and understand team objectives.
  • Strong problem solving and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (e.g., counting bags, verifying cargo weights).
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to understand and interpret flight schedules and airline flight destination information.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
