About the role
AMP Robotics is seeking a Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of complex recycling system projects. The successful candidate will manage multiple concurrent project deployments while coordinating closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, Operations, Operations, contractors, field installation teams, commissioning resources, and customers. This role will require work at AMP facilities and customer project sites. The candidate selected for this role will be recommended for a stock option grant commensurate with the position and the candidate’s qualifications.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Eight or more years of experience managing complex industrial, manufacturing, automation, material-handling, construction, or capital-equipment projects.
- Demonstrated experience personally managing projects from planning through installation, commissioning, customer acceptance, and closeout.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities and shared resources.
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, change control, procurement, contractor coordination, and project reporting.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, construction, installation, and commissioning teams.
- Experience managing contractors, suppliers, and third-party execution partners.
- Strong customer communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and escalation-management skills.
- Ability to establish structure and disciplined project controls in a growing, rapidly changing organization.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel to customer and project sites as required.
- Up to 50% travel is expected, including occasional evening, weekend, and international travel based on project requirements.
