About the role
We are seeking a motivated student to join the Special Projects & Initiatives Department at the International Corporate Headquarters (ICHQ) of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. for a 12 week internship. This role offers hands-on exposure to business operations within a nonprofit membership organization. As the Special Projects & Initiatives Intern, you will support the Special Projects & Initiatives Manager with day-to-day e-commerce operations, vendor coordination, and operational support for retail initiatives and organizational programs. This role provides practical experience in retail merchandising, operational logistics, and customer engagement while supporting initiatives that contribute to the organization’s sustainability.
What you'll bring
- Must be currently enrolled in college with a major or minor in Public Administration, Business Administration, or Communications
- Minimum GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
- Capable of working independently while collaborating effectively with a team
- Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and reliability
- Experience in e-commerce operations, retail merchandising, vendor coordination, POS systems, or customer service environments preferred.
