What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent engineering discipline, plus four (4) years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
- Demonstrated experience using Bentley OpenRoads Designer (ORD), AutoCAD Civil 3D, and/or similar highway or transportation design software.
- Design experience with VDOT projects
- Experience in civil engineering with an emphasis on Roadway, Drainage, and Traffic projects
- Ability and willingness to offer mentorship to various levels of staff
- Ability and willingness to operate within a hybrid work schedule environment with hybrid teams
- Professional Engineer (PE) License in any state, or ability to obtain PE within 1 year of hire
- Degree accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET
