About the role
The Analytics Specialist is responsible for the accuracy, quality, relevance, and availability of client web analytics platform data & reporting that enables and informs data-driven tactical and strategic digital marketing decisions. This role is responsible for auditing client analytics platform implementation on websites and mobile apps, making recommendations to improve implementation alignment with best practices and relevance to client business objectives, the generation and presentation of internal and client-facing reporting, and the troubleshooting and resolution of data collection and reporting issues.
What you'll bring
- Experience in one or more major analytics platforms, in all aspects of web analytics (planning, implementation, configuration, troubleshooting, and reporting), is required.

- Detail-oriented and organized
- able to effectively manage a workload of both scheduled and ad-hoc tasks
- Familiarity with digital marketing concepts, channels, strategy, and tactics
- ability to generate actionable tactical and strategic insights and recommendations from web analytics data
- Understanding of core web technologies (HTTP, HTML, cookies, JavaScript) and experience using this understanding in the implementation and troubleshooting of analytics platform tracking/data collection
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (and their Google Docs equivalents) skills
