About the role
The Jewish Board’s Community Behavioral Health treatment programs provide compassionate, high quality, evidence-based services to individuals and families in the communities we serve. Our staff use a culturally affirming, person centered approach to help individuals and their families develop skills and resources to improve overall functioning, to instill hope, and to strengthen resiliency. Our programs work closely with community partners to address health disparities in our neighborhoods while also celebrating the strengths and resilience of our communities. This position provides clinical services as part of an OMH licensed outpatient mental health clinic/ CCBHC location, interventions include, but are not limited to, evaluations; individual, group and/or family therapy; case management; and crisis interventions.
What you'll bring
- Must live within the United States and have a valid NYS State Licensed.
- Master’s degree in counseling, creative arts, or social work from an accredited program AND a New York State License in Mental Health Counseling (LMHC)
- Creative Arts Therapy (LCAT), or social work (LMSW/LCSW) required.
- A minimum of one year of relevant clinical experience is required.
- Experience documenting in electronic health records and using Microsoft Office.
- Experience treating children or adolescents is preferred.
- Fluency in a second language is preferred.
- Experience with tele-mental health platforms a plus.
