What you'll bring
- BA/BS in Coastal, Ocean, Naval Architecture, or Civil Engineering plus 8 years of relevant work experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Texas Professional Engineer License
- Twelve (12) years of relevant experience (i.e. construction, previous work with consultants, etc.)
- M.S. degree in Coastal or Ocean Engineering or relevant field is preferred
- Prior experience with Galveston, Fort Worth, Mobile, and New Orleans Districts or other Districts of the USACE and Texas and/or state projects preferred.
- Reputation as a high performer.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven experience in business development and project delivery.
- Strong computer skills.
- Knowledge or familiarity in AutoCAD and/or GIS.
- Ability to work both independently and in group environments.
- Willingness to travel (typically for one to three days occasionally).
