About the role
This position is not eligible for Sponsorship. MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc. is looking for extraordinary people to join our team! The Full Stack Java Engineer III works with team to provide complex software programming for new software, production support and maintenance for existing software, as well as ad-hoc support of key departmental initiatives which drive business functions.The Software Engineer III receives general instructions on new projects and works autonomously to complete deliverables. This is an internal and external client facing position that requires excellent customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills (listening/verbal/written). One must be able to; manage difficult or emotional client situations; Respond promptly to client needs; Solicit client feedback to improve service; Respond to requests for service and assistance from clients; Meet commitments to clients. This position requires no travel, however attendance maybe required at various local conferences and meetings.

- BS/BA and 6+ years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, and 2 years of SME in respective areas
- Excellent working knowledge of Angular
- Solid understanding of UI patterns and experience with Bootstrap, CSS3, HTML5, JQuery, jQWidgets, JResponsive Web Design (RWD), JSON, AJAX
- Experience writing and optimizing SQL queries and work with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle)
- Excellent working knowledge of Java backend Spring framework
- Experience developing and maintaining unit, integration, and end-to-end automated tests to ensure code quality
- Experience leveraging AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor) to accelerate development and problem-solving
- Knowledge of accessibility requirements and experience developing interfaces that comply to ADA/508/WCAG2.0
- Experience using GIT— Source Code Management tool
- Experience with Maven— Build Automation tool
