About the role

NETGEAR is seeking a technically strong and customer-focused Senior Systems Engineer to support our Professional AV (Pro AV), Enterprise, and IT customers across the Middle East and Africa (MEA). This role combines deep expertise in AV-over-IP and enterprise networking with technical leadership throughout the sales cycle. Based in Dubai, you will act as a trusted advisor to system integrators, consultants, enterprise customers, and channel partners - influencing solution design, supporting high-profile projects, and positioning NETGEAR as the leading networking provider for modern AV and enterprise environments.

What you'll bring

• 8+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Network Engineering, Pro AV Engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
• Proven experience working with system integrators, consultants, and enterprise customers in the MEA region.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across wired, wireless, and IP-based media networks.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including IT teams, AV professionals, consultants, and executive audiences.
• Strong presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organisational and project coordination abilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural, and partner-driven environment.
• Fluent in English and Arabic (spoken and written).
• Layer 2/Layer 3 networking - VLANs, routing, link aggregation, and segmentation.
• AV-over-IP networking - multicast design and optimisation (IGMP snooping/querier, traffic containment, scalability), QoS for real-time AV and enterprise traffic, and PTP timing fundamentals.
• Enterprise Wi-Fi (Wi-Fi 6/6E/7) - RF design, site surveys, and performance optimisation.
• Zero Trust security concepts - segmentation, identity-based access, and secure onboarding.
