About the role

As our new Air Quality Managing Consultant, you will be part of Ramboll’s Air Sciences Group, which is part of Ramboll’s Environment & Health Division. They are expected to be proficient in all facets of project management. They must demonstrate a commitment to mentoring and developing Consultant and Senior Consultant level staff and to collaborating with colleagues throughout the Practice. As part of the team, you will be part of a creative group, filled with people who are really excited about solving clients’ problems and creating sustainable solutions for them. You will work with all levels of technical expertise from entry level team members to members with decades of experience, many of whom are subject matter experts in their own fields. And you will engage in a continual learning environment through coaching, mentoring, and on-the-job tasks.

What you'll bring

  • The successful candidate will have experience managing consulting assignments, must work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams, is expected to be proficient in the analysis and communication of information, and must be able to work cooperatively with agencies, organizations, and individuals to guide decision-making.

  • 7+ years of related experience, largely in air quality permitting and compliance, with a focus in the chemical and/or pharmaceutical sector
  • History managing consulting assignments in a consulting environment
  • Ability to externally manage client and regulatory agency relationships and internally manage staff and competing project priorities
  • Ability to train and utilize junior consulting staff, and experience leading a team on projects.
  • B.S. or M.S. in Chemical Engineering preferred.
  • B.S. or M.S. in a related field, such as Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering or other relevant science / engineering discipline, are also preferred degrees for a candidate with direct working experience in the Chemical or Pharmaceutical sectors.
