About the role

Candidates should have a passion for promoting equity through anti-racist, student-centered teaching practices that celebrate racial and cultural identities. This role is rooted in service to systemically underserved communities in Los Angeles, helping scholars graduate “college-ready” with pride in who they are.

What you'll bring

  • A California teaching credential in the assigned subject area(s) and a valid English Learner Authorization are required.
  • Applicants who will hold any of the following credentials by their start date are welcome to apply:
  • California Single Subject Credential in Mathematics or Foundational-Level Mathematics
  • (Clear or Preliminary).
  • Applicants will be required to provide a copy of the credential, or, if in progress, a status letter from their credential program.
  • California University or District Intern Credential in Mathematics or Foundational-Level Mathematics.
  • Applicants will be required to provide an intern-eligibility letter from their credential program.
  • Equivalent Out-of-State Credential
  • transferring to California.
  • Applicants will be required to provide a copy of their out-of-state credential.
  • Note: If you do not yet hold a California-equivalent English Learner Authorization, you may qualify for a temporary permit while transferring your credential.
  • California Multiple Subject or Single Subject Credential with an Introductory Supplementary Authorization in Mathematics.
