About the role
Our designs encompass many aspects of electrical engineering. We are looking for experience in many of the following areas: high-speed digital, precision analog, RF, power, motor control, sensors, and low power electronics. As this is a very hands-on role, this position is NOT eligible for remote work. You will be working in small teams with other highly skilled engineers and developers to create products and software services for our customers. You should have a proven track record of being able to pick up new tasks and tools and be multi-faceted in your skillset and interests. Expect to be constantly challenged as part of an organization that strives to push the technological envelope in delivering innovative solutions to customer problems.
What you'll bring
- This position requires a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering with significant focus in PCB design.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Experience interfacing with customers and vendors
- Experience creating electrical specifications and electrical block diagrams for potential designs
- Experience mentoring less experienced engineers
- Experience with Altium for schematic capture and PCB layout
- Expertise in creating and simulating numerous electronics circuits
- Strong electronics troubleshooting experience
- Proficient with precision analog, DC/DC converters, and high-speed designs
- Basic firmware development skills (C/C++)
- Excellent math skills
- Experience designing products for ease of manufacturing
