About the role

This role is a hybrid position and in the office three days a week and work from home two days a week. This role is ideal for junior engineers who enjoy working across traditional infrastructure and modern automation disciplines. Success in this position comes from understanding how systems connect, identifying opportunities to reduce manual effort through automation, and helping build scalable, reliable infrastructure that supports the evolving needs of a large enterprise.

What you'll bring

• 2+ years of Network Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• Basic knowledge of networking fundamentals including routing, switching, TCP/IP, and network security.
• Exposure to scripting or programming (Python or similar) for task automation.
• Understanding of REST APIs or system integration concepts.
• Familiarity with network operating systems, tools, and troubleshooting methods.
• Exposure to cloud networking concepts or environments.
• Third-Party recordings are prohibited unless authorized by Wells Fargo.
• Wells Fargo requires you to directly represent your own experiences during the recruiting and hiring process.
• Experience with network automation or configuration tools (e.g., Ansible or similar).
• Exposure to infrastructure-as-code concepts (e.g., Terraform or similar tools).
