About the role

The Materials Associate is responsible for accurately processing all incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining organized and clean work areas, verifying product quality, and ensuring proper documentation for every order. This role requires attention to detail, safe material handling, and active communication with the production team to meet customer expectations and production schedules. The Materials Team acts as the vital circulatory system of Base, ensuring that every high-tech component and finished battery unit moves flawlessly through our facility and into the hands of our customers. We solve the logistical challenge of maintaining inventory accuracy and structural integrity in a physically demanding environment, directly enabling Base. Your work is the final safeguard in our mission; by verifying every shipment and streamlining the flow of parts to the production line, you ensure our commitment to reliability is met before a product even leaves the warehouse. What you'll bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Must be comfortable with manual labor and working in a physically demanding environment.
• Perform demanding physical tasks for extended periods, up to 12 hours a day
• Ability to stoop, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch, and twist for prolonged periods, up to 12 hours.
• 2+ years of shipping, receiving, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience in warehouse operations, material handling, or logistics preferred.
