About the role

ProSidian Seeks a Environmental Senior Biologist (A021) (CONUS/OCONUS - Jacksonville, FL and the Caribbean | Senior Consultant - Time and Materials) to support an engagement for the second largest civil works district in the US Army Corps of Engineers, with an area of responsibility encompassing Florida and the Caribbean. This service supports DoD/Military Sector Sector Clients (For Present / Future Requirements) and ProSidian Team Members work as part of a Key Personnel Cadre (Labor Category ) to fulfill BLD - Blended (FFP/T&M) requirements for a provide Environmental Remediation Services, on behalf of the second largest civil works district in the US Army Corps of Engineers, with an area of responsibility encompassing Florida and the Caribbean. The Environmental Senior Biologist (A021)  shall work to support requirements for CORHQ-22-R-0317 Environmental Functional Area Services.

• Ability to conduct work in a professional manner with the highest degree of precision and accuracy obtainable
• Ability to strictly abide to quality control limits and work plan in each Task Order provided
• Must be certified to work at environmental, Installation Restoration Program (IRP) construction, and Hazardous Toxic and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) sites with both initial and annual Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) certifications as appropriate
• Knowledge of OSHA Regulations
• Possess deep knowledge of transport and disposal procedures for safe handling of hazardous materials
• Familiarity with EPA Standards
• Extensive knowledge in data collection and analyzation
• Ability to prepare reports and correspondence concerning project specifications, activities and status as well as a customer facing Statement of Work.
• BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of eight years of professional experience, including at least two years of applied experience in the Florida.
• For task orders in Puerto Rico the biologist shall have at least two years of applied experience in Puerto Rico..
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (This employer participates in the e-Verify program)
