About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) to lead safety compliance and execution on U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) projects. This role serves as the on-site safety authority and plays a critical role in protecting our people, projects, and clients.

What you'll bring

• · Exercising stop-work authority when unsafe conditions are identified
• · Promoting a proactive, field-driven safety culture across the project
• · 5+ years of construction safety experience
• · Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards and EM 385-1-1 requirements
• · Prior experience serving as SSHO on USACE projects
• · Must be accepted by USACE as SSHO for assigned projects
• · Resume must clearly demonstrate qualifications that meet EM 385-1-1 SSHO requirements
• · OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification (current within 4 years)
• · CQM-C certification (required or ability to obtain)
• · First Aid & CPR certification (current)
• · Strong documentation, inspection, and incident investigation skills
• · Ability to communicate effectively with crews, subcontractors, and USACE representatives
