About the role

ms consultants, inc. is currently seeking a Municipal Project Manager to join our team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This role offers the opportunity to lead municipal projects while building and expanding client relationships across Western Pennsylvania. The selected candidate will lead a diverse range of municipal projects, from planning through design and implementation, and play a key role in building client relationships and supporting new business development. What you'll bring

• We are looking for someone who is a creative problem solver, willing and able to communicate engineering concepts to Clients at an easy to understand level while providing detailed, technical design ideas to technical staff in a collaborative, matrixed team environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or other relevant field.
• Professional Engineering (PE) License (Pennsylvania)
• Project Management Experience
• Relevant experience in a wide variety of municipal engineering services.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including public speaking.
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally complex engineering concepts across a wide variety of audiences including but not limited to: Engineers, Contractors, Elected Officials, and the General Public
• Exceptional critical thinking, strong problem solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Familiarity with federal and state funding agencies and programs.
