This is a highly hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys taking products from concept to production and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. As a Systems Engineer, you will own complete systems-level electrical designs, develop and validate prototypes, support manufacturing, and ensure products meet safety, performance, and certification requirements.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
  • 3+ years of experience designing and integrating power electronics, EV charging systems, or similar power hardware.
  • Strong knowledge of power distribution, conductor sizing, grounding methods, and over current protection.
  • Proven experience owning engineering deliverables from concept through production release.
  • Hands-on experience building, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems and prototypes.
  • Ability to create clear electrical documentation, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Proficiency with SolidWorks and experience producing engineering drawings.
  • Understanding of GD&T, BOM management, and revision control processes.
  • Experience with EV charging, bidirectional V2G/V2H systems, or microgrid technologies.
  • Familiarity with harness design tools such as RapidHarness or electrical CAD platforms including EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, or SolidWorks Electrical.
  • Knowledge of UL 2202, UL 2231, UL 1741, UL 9741, and related safety standards.
  • Experience with DFMEA, safety-critical designs, UL certification programs, or manufacturing transfer/onshoring projects.
