About the role

As the Environmental Engineer II, you will work out of one of our offices in either Anchorage, AK, Fairbanks, AK, Salt Lake City, UT or Grand Junction, CO. You will utilize your knowledge to participate in collecting, synthesizing, and documenting data relating to environmental compliance tasks. Task focus areas are related, but not limited, to stormwater, wastewater, air quality/emissions, oil storage and/or waste regulations, and assisting in the preparation and/or review of permits, pollution prevention plans, and regulatory-driven reporting. This position also includes providing field support as needed, which may include field site supervision. In addition, the Environmental Engineer will utilize their knowledge and experience with environmental site investigations and cleanups to support field efforts and document preparation and/or review. As the Environmental Engineer II, you will work out of one of our offices in either Anchorage, AK, Fairbanks, AK, Salt Lake City, UT or Grand Junction, CO. What you'll bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering or other engineering discipline.
  • Five to ten years of experience working on environmental projects, or five to ten years working in an environmental analytical laboratory.
  • Must meet ADEC’s definition of a Qualified Professional.
  • A broad understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
  • Valid state driver’s license and qualified to operate a vehicle under the conditions of the Company’s Driving Policy.
  • Ability to pass drug and background screening.
