About the role

CGS is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team supporting the healthcare mission of a large federal agency. This position will allow candidates to demonstrate expertise in providing healthcare support tasks such as injury prevention, fitness exams, readiness reports, and rehab programs. You will help maximize the physical readiness and long-term health of fighter aircrew by addressing musculoskeletal (MSK) injuries, particularly related to neck and back pain caused by flight demands. As a multidisciplinary team member, you will be an important part of the injury prevention, performance enhancement, and rehabilitation aspects of fighter aircrew.

What you'll bring

  • 3+ years' experience as a PT in Collegiate, Professional, Olympic, Tactical (military), Aerospace industry, or similar environment supporting man-machine high-performance.
  • Experience must include recency within the last 2 years.
  • Current (or ability to obtain prior to start date) healthcare provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification including Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Current (or ability to obtain and maintain) Secret security clearance (T3 background investigation)
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • 5+ years' experience as a PT in Collegiate, Professional, Olympic, Tactical (military), Aerospace industry, or similar environment supporting man-machine high-performance.
  • ABPTS OCS or SCS certification

  • Orthopedic or Sports residency / Fellowship Trained
