About the role

Raytheon is seeking a Factory Center Director for the CCM Common Processing area. In this role you will be responsible for leadership and talent development opportunities for an organization of > 275 employees across multiple functions including Operations and indirectly for Engineering, Quality, Finance and Supply Chain. The Director of Operations will provide cross-functional leadership of the multi-disciplined Common Processing to advance operations for cost, quality and schedule, ensuring operational excellence across the manufacturing process. This role is expected to champion Enterprise Collaboration by bringing best in class solutions that deliver innovative manufacturing and advanced capabilities that create sustained growth while driving affordability.

What you'll bring

• University degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 14 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and 12 years of experience.
• Leadership experience in one or more of those areas: Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, Production and/or quality.
• Prior experience leading in a DoD manufacturing environment
• Prior experience managing a collective bargaining workforce
• Experience utilizing SAP, shop floor data systems and other business systems
• Experience with Six-Sigma / CORE and lean manufacturing processes
• Excellent organizational, customer service, communication, presentation, and team building skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications with the ability to present to senior leadership
• Ability to execute against tight deadlines
• Understanding of Raytheon product structures and product technical details
• Financial performance / cost reduction
• A great team builder with the ability to communicate clear expectations and influence teams across a wide cross-section of disciplines
