About the role

As a credentialed veterinary technician, you’ll be trusted to practice at the top of your license, fully utilizing the skills and responsibilities outlined by the Maryland Veterinary Practice Act. As an RVT at EMRVC, you’ll be a true clinical partner to our veterinarians, supporting patient care, diagnostics, and client education. Responsibilities include:

What you'll bring

• Current Maryland RVT license – or an active RVT license from another state with a commitment to obtain Maryland licensure within 6 months of hire
• A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in a clinical veterinary setting, with demonstrated proficiency in surgical assistance, dental prophylaxis, and radiology
• Passion for veterinary medicine and a desire to grow professionally
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume setting without compromising care
• Ability to walk, stand, and bend for sustained periods
• Ability to use hands and arms to handle and position animals, materials, and equipment
