About the role

The Staff Accountant – Clinical Practice Accounting is responsible for supporting the accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of physician practices. This position prepares journal entries, performs account reconciliations, analyzes financial results, and supports the monthly close process while ensuring accurate accounting for patient revenue, gross-to-net revenue adjustments, cost of goods sold, operating expenses, and related balance sheet accounts in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company accounting policies.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 1–4 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.
• Knowledge of month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Experience accounting for accounts receivable, accruals, inventory, and operating expenses.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, and complex formulas.
• Experience with ERP and financial management systems
• Experience in a multi-entity or multi-location healthcare environment.
• Public accounting or corporate accounting experience preferred.
• Healthcare or multi-entity organization experience is a plus.
• Netsuite and Workday Adaptive Analytics a plus
