About the role

BCforward is seeking a highly motivated and experienced PeopleSoft Technical Consultant Position is for at least 8 weeks and most likely extended to 1 year. Must have at least three (3) years of experience related to installing, upgrading, and maintaining the PeopleSoft Human Resources modules (version 8.9 or later) in an Oracle/Linux or Oracle/Windows environment. Write software using the following tools and state-of-the-art computer technology. Upgrade to new versions of PeopleSoft HRMS, and apply patches and fixes to PeopleCode. Provide programming support in all phases of the software lifecycle. Develop, test, maintain, and document code using a variety of software programming languages and tools (e.g., PeopleTools PeopleCode, Application Engine,SQL/SQR, XML Publisher, Integration Broker, Change Assistant, and Data Mover).

What you'll bring

• Must have at least three (3) years of experience related to installing, upgrading, and maintaining the PeopleSoft Human Resources modules (version 8.9 or later) in an Oracle/Linux or Oracle/Windows environment.
• City of Charlotte is looking for a contract PeopleSoft Technical Developer for a project related to Affordable Care Act (ACA) reporting.
• The task is to create a process to extract PeopleSoft data into interface files that will be sent to a vendor for ACA reporting.
• The files will be in a format specified by the vendor.
• The estimated time frame is between 2-4 months.
• Hands on technical experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.1 application.
• Proficient with Tools 8.50 or higher
• Experience in writing inbound and outbound interfaces specific to Benefits using SQR/ App Engine.
• Good understanding of PeopleSoft tables in HR, Base Benefits, Payroll and Time & Labor.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Contract length: 12+ Months
• Must be able to pass a background and drug screen
